Frisco, Texas Aug – May Mon – Fri 9AM – 12PM Ages 9–16

The Footy Lab is a dedicated morning training academy built exclusively for homeschool families. While other players spend their mornings in a classroom, your child gets three hours of elite soccer development — led by former professional players whose coaching staff train current pros today. Train Monday through Friday, 9AM to 12PM, without touching your evenings or your club schedule.

The Program

Every Academy session is a three-hour block built to develop the whole player:

First touch, ball control, finishing — taught with professional precision.

Speed & Athleticism

Coached by a trainer who works with professional players — the athletic edge every competitor needs.

Founding Technical Directors

Jamie Lovegrove

Founding Technical Director

Jamie Lovegrove is a professional midfielder from Crawley, England, with over a decade of elite playing experience. Since making his professional debut in 2012, he has competed in 150+ professional matches, recording 188 goals and 123 assists across the MASL.

A former NSCAA NJCAA Division III All-American at Richland College, Lovegrove combines his professional playing experience with a passion for developing the next generation of athletes.

As a coach, he is committed to creating technically gifted, intelligent, and confident players by delivering professional-level training in a challenging, high-energy environment. Jamie currently works within the FC Dallas Youth system, contributing to the development of elite youth players in the DFW area.

Gareth Evans

Founding Technical Director

Gareth Evans is a former professional soccer player with a 13-year career across the United Kingdom and United States. Beginning his career in the UK with Wrexham AFC, Evans went on to compete at the highest levels of the game, earning multiple All-League honors and setting team records for appearances and minutes played before concluding his professional career with OKC Energy FC in the USL Championship.

Holding a USSF A Youth License, Evans currently serves as an ECNL Scouting and Talent ID Director and Head Coach within the FC Dallas Youth system, where he focuses on identifying and developing elite players.

Combining professional playing experience, advanced coaching education, and a proven track record in talent development, Evans provides players with the knowledge, standards, and mindset needed to maximize their potential and prepare for the next level.
